This year's Summer Davos has wrapped up in Tianjin. Over 2-thousand people from more than 100 countries took part in over 200 sessions. Our reporter Wang Hui spoke with the Personal Envoy for China of the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross, and asked him about how the Red Cross works with businesses and its use of modern technologies.
JACQUES PELLET ICRC SPECIAL ENVOY FOR CHINA "Since the beginning of the ICRC, we have been close to the sector of business. But more importantly, the WEF for us today is a platform, where you can not only meet with business people, but also with academics, researchers to face challenges we have to overcome in our work. We need to find partnership, to find solutions. We cannot find by ourselves."

You know one of the works we have been doing for one century is to reunite the families that are separated by conflicts. The new technology will never replace the basic work we do which is to be close to the victims."
JACQUES PELLET ICRC SPECIAL ENVOY FOR CHINA "In Asia, we see countries developing very fast. We also see a lot of humanitarian needs if you look at some of the crisis. The work we are doing is not only good because it's humanitarian work but also because it's good for the interests of states. Humanitarian work can provide basic fundamental for these development."
