With increasing winds, firefighters are struggling to extinguish the fires and stop them from spreading to populated areas.

Caused by strong winds, drought and high temperatures, the wildfires have devastated nearly one million hectares of the famous Pampas, one of Argentina’s most productive regions, over the past week.
