Residents in Xi'an City, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, are preparing to celebrate the Lantern Festival which marks the final day of traditional Chinese New Year celebrations. Performers of Shehuo Carnival are rehearsing stilt walking, a skill for which villagers are famous.
