Former South Korean president Lee Myung-bak will be indicted today on about 14 counts of corruption charges.
Lee is accused of taking bribes totaling about 10 million US dollars. He also faces other charges including abuse of power, breach of trust and violation of the election law. Prosecutors are looking into other suspicions and plan to press additional charges. There are also moves to freeze Lee's personal assets to prevent him from disposing of any gained from corruption.
