Iran Plane Crash: Review of deadliest accidents over two decades
[]
This is the latest of deadly plane crashes in Iran over two decades.
In 2003, a Revolutionary Guard plane crashed in southeast Iran, killing all 275 people on board. Two years later, a military aircraft crashed at the foot of a 10-story apartment building in a residential area of Tehran - more than 100 died. The next year, another military plane crashed in Tehran, killing dozens - most were members of the Revolutionary Guard. Three years later, a jetliner caught fire shortly after take-off... all 168 people on board died. In 2011, a Boeing 727 exploded on impact while attempting an emergency landing. And in 2014, a plane crashed moments after take-off.
