Trial period for Toy Story Land commences at Shanghai Disneyland

The trial period for Shanghai Disneyland’s seventh themed land, the new Disney Pixar Toy Story Land, commenced operation today.
Toy Story Land is set to officially open on the afternoon of April 26, after a special celebration ceremony in the morning.
Toy Story Land is set in the main character Andy's backyard. Woody, Buzz and their Toy Story friends come to life and play in this fully immersive land, which features three new attractions, namely, the Slinky Dog Spin, Rex’s Racers, and Wood’s Round-Up.
Targeting a lower age range, the new park features many bright colored toy-shaped facilities.

The Slinky Dog is one of many rides on display at Toy Story Land. Guests can seat inside Slinky Dog’s springy spirals and race around the tracks.
Another ride features Sheriff Woody rounding up a herd of ponies, each one pulling a cart, dancing and swinging their carts to and fro.

Shanghai Disney Resort is a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and Shanghai Shendi Group who holds 57% of the shares.

Disney Toy Story Land is a sign of the early success of Shanghai Disney Resort and demonstrates the confidence joint venture shareholders have in the growing consumer demand for themed entertainment in China.
