Two children were killed and several others injured after a vehicle crashed into a primary school in suburban Sydney on Tuesday morning.
There were 24 children in the classroom in Banksia Road Primary School, Greenacre, when the incident occurred. Local authorities were alerted at around 9:45 a.m. local time.
Two boys, both aged eight, were pronounced dead after they were sent to hospital.
A nine-year-old girl is reportedly in a critical condition.
The driver, aged 52, was uninjured. She has been taken to hospital for blood and urine tests.
An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
