The Boao Forum for Asia is a platform which aims to reach consensuses, promote regional cooperation and advance the continent's influence on the world stage. Speaking at a sub-forum at this year's gathering, Dai Xianglong, former governor for China's central Bank, said he was optimistic about Asia's future.
