Belt and Road Initiative: Chinese government reports on BRI achievements

We begin with a look at the Belt and Road Initiative. The second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation starts this week. Let's find out from government reports-the progress and contributions of BRI in the past six years.
Promising it's not a zero-sum game, the Chinese government reports that the impact of the BRI on trade in 71 potentially participating countries, the initiative increases trade flows among participating countries by up to 4.1 percent. Official says BRI has helped to reform the global governance and promote economic globalization since it's first raised in 2013.

China is improving regional cooperation while keeping on its own opening-up policy. Participating countries have obtained tangible benefits, and their appreciation of and participation in the initiative are growing."
The government also says participating countries of Belt and Road Initiative have made continued efforts to improve financial cooperation for long-term benefits and win-win results.

The government also says the initiative has transited from the initial plans to meticulous implementation. China is willing to realize high-quality development, bring benefits to local people and build a global community of shared future.
