Chinese President Xi Jinping toured villages in Zhaojue County, southwest China's Sichuan Province on Sunday, to check up on poverty alleviation work. Xi took a two-hour drive from Xichang City to Sanhe Village in the Yi Autonomous Prefecture. He visited impoverished families of the Yi ethnic minority to learn about their lives.
