Allegations that the Donald Trump's campaign conspired with Russia are nothing new. Multiple investigations are ongoing both in the US Congress and by a special prosecutor.
Now come fresh allegations, first reported by the New York Times, that President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr, his son-in-law Jared Kushner, and then campaign manager Paul Manafort, met in June 2016 with a Russian attorney after being promised incriminating “dirt” on Trump’s rival – Hillary Clinton.
Four experts were invited to CGTN studio to take a look at the latest news over President Trump's administration.
They are respectively Afshin Molavi, a senior fellow with Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, Joe Madison, political commentator and talk show host with Sirius-XM Satellite Radio, Michael Johns, co-founder of the U.S. National Tea Party Movement and Vladimir Golstein, a professor of Slavic Studies at Brown University.
