Australia launches anti-dumping investigation on railway wheels from China and France

Australia initiated an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation against railway wheels imported from China, and an anti-dumping investigation on the same product from France, the country’s Anti-Dumping Committee announced on Wednesday.
The Australian Steel Company Pty Ltd. applied for the investigation to take place.
China exported 7.7 million US dollars’ worth of the railway wheels to Australia in 2017.
China has yet to respond to the investigation.
