Sun Chuyang is the youngest ever certificated yoga trainer in China. The young boy was not a born yoga prodigy: He practiced yoga moves, not only to strengthen his body, but also to exorcise the demons inside him.

Sun was born in a wealthy family in Taizhou, east China's Zhejiang Province. Fully-engaged in their work, his parents didn’t have time to spend with their son. From a very early age, Sun appeared rather quiet and introvert, and was later diagnosed of suffering from autism.

In order to put her son’s life back on track, Sun’s mother took a parental yoga training course and found her son particularly gifted in yoga. The coach said though Sun didn’t talk so much, he easily remembered every move of the course.

Two years into training, Sun’s mental stage improved dramatically. Many local yoga clubs offered him a coaching job for young yoga practitioners, with salaries. Now he had already able to maintain his life independently – although he hasn’t been admitted to elementary school yet!
