US President Donald Trump has said that Washington could "conceivably" re-enter the Paris Agreement on climate change if the country's wealth of fossil fuels wasn't harmed.
At a news conference, Trump insisted that agreement, signed in 2015 by the international community and aimed at combating climate change by limiting the global temperature rise to well below two degrees Celsius, was "a bad deal" and "very unfair" to the United States.
Trump's decision in June last year to pull the United States out of the landmark global accord sparked a wave of anger and dismay at home and a chorus of disapproval abroad.
