Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has made it to the semi-finals of the China Open in Beijing, after defeating fifth-seeded Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain 7-6, 4-6, 6-2. He will meet top-ranked Rafael Nadal on Saturday.
The third-seeded Bulgarian had a resurging year in 2017. He overcame World No.5 Kei Nishikori in three sets in the final in Brisbane, winning his first ATP title in nearly three years. He has also lifted his first Masters trophy in Cincinnati by defeating Nick Kyrgios in the final in straight sets.
"There're no secrets to success, it's always hard work, and all the necessary things you need to do," Dimitrov told CGTN’S Wang Dong in an exclusive interview.

"There're a lot of things that have changed in my life, we structured a very solid team, that really helped us out. We've been trying to be very consistent on and off the court. At some point, other things will come in as big factors in order to reach to the top again."
About the next goal, the 26 year-old is very certain. It's to reach World No. 1.
"I've made it in the world, so if I can go all the way to the top, to win is pretty much within sight. Of course these guys are not going to play forever, there's always going to be a little spot at some point of entry you can try to reach. I'm going to try to play better and better and reach the highest I can."
