Pyeongchang Olympic Games: Li Yan: The question is whether the referee is consistent in penalizing
[]
Earlier we spoke to Li Yan, she's the head coach of the China short track speed skating team. She shared her thoughts with us on the loss of the Chinese team. Li also talked about her opinions on the referee's decision.
LI YAN, HEAD COACH CHINA SHORT TRACK SPEED SKATING "I think I am little calm right now, but we have written protest to the ISU technical committee, just want to ask them if in a one competition, they should have a consistency call, we wish we could find out why and get a clear response...in one, race, every contact, every move, they (referee) should call the same."
"I respect every decision made by the referee, but if their decision is not consistent for everyone, every race, I will not accept that."
"So the race is race, when it passed, you can never come back. So if they really want to get the first place, we have to wait for next four years."
