Sporadic clashes are continuing in Mosul, despite the government's declaration of "total victory" over ISIL in the northern Iraqi city.
Explosions and large plumes of smoke were visible on Tuesday in the city's Old City sector.
Despite losing its stronghold in Mosul, ISIL militants have consolidated more than 75 percent of Imam Gharbi, which is some 70 kilometers south of the city.
The nine-month-long battle between Iraqi forces and the extremists has killed thousands of civilians, and nearly 900,000 people were displaced from Mosul.
