Abe Cronyism Scandal: Japan PM takes blame for loss of trust as polls dive, denies involvement

Japan's Prime Minister says he accepts responsibility for the public's loss of trust in the government.
Still, Shinzo Abe denied intervening in a land sale to a school operator who's connected to his wife. Two opinion polls over the weekend showed Abe's support dropping to its lowest point since he took office six years ago. The finance ministry admitted last week it had altered documents about the sale.
