Chinese President Xi Jinping has attended a panel discussion with National People's Congress deputies from Shandong -- one of China's largest northern provinces, with both wealthy coastal cities and vast under-developed rural areas. President Xi praised the province's progress since the 18th national congress of the CPC, and reiterated that a drive for more rural revitalization was a key outcome from the 19th National Congress of the CPC in October. He urged the deputies to work harder to build a moderately-prosperous society in all respects. And, on the International Women's Day, President Xi also sent his sincere wishes to women from all walks of life.
