Qatar seeks compensation for blockade losses

The Qatari government has set up a committee to pursue damages caused by the blockade imposed by Saudi Arabia and its allied countries.
Qatari Public Prosecutor Ali Al-Marri said the committee will deal with claims from large companies, private sectors, public institutions and individuals that have suffered losses as a result of the crisis.
Central bank governor Abdullah Saud Al-Thani said Qatar has 340 billion US dollars in reserves to help weather the isolation. He denied the claim that Qatar supports terrorism and insisted the country has laws against all kinds of terrorists.
Qatar has taken a hard stance in the diplomatic crisis and insists it will not back down.
