A new type of bullet trains started to operate in north China's Hebei Province on Friday. The train can carry 616 passengers and crew members and run at a speed of 250 km per hour. Equipped with sealed compartments, it can run in bad weather and diverse environments. The new type of bullet train has more than 600 sensors to monitor it’s operation and reduce its speed or stop it automatically. The train's technology and key parts are all made in China.
