Chinese President Xi Jinping is pointing to an eastern province as an example of how to ease poverty and improve people's lives.

Xi said Zhejiang Province has worked over the past 15 years to improve its rural areas.

He added the province should inspire other areas during the country's three-year campaign to revitalize rural China.

The President also urged that the measures should be targeted and adjusted to local conditions.
