US President Donald Trump tweeted on Saturday that he had to fire his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn. The president contended that Flynn's actions during the transition following the 2016 election "were lawful.” Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to one charge of lying to the FBI and agreed to cooperate with Mueller’s investigation. Trump insisted that there's been “absolutely no collusion” between his campaign and the Russians.
