Rotterdam incident not connected to Catalonia's attacks

A van with Spanish license plates and carrying a number of gas canisters, which was found near a concert hall in Rotterdam on Wednesday, is not connected to last week's car ramming incidents in Barcelona and Cambrils, Reuters reported citing a judicial source.
Dutch authorities canceled a concert by American rock group Allah-Las after receiving a tip-off from Spanish police around 5:30 p.m. (1530 GMT) about a possible terror attack near the Maassilo concert hall.
The driver was detained by police for questioning.
The scare came less than a week after twin vehicle attacks in Spain killed 15 people and injured over 100 others.
