US President Donald Trump has told reporters talks with Kim Jong Un could still happen as originally scheduled, appearing to take back his previous statement cancelling the meeting.
Earlier, Trump said he was pleased the DPRK remains open to talks. The American leader described the reaction to his decision to cancel talks with Kim Jong Un, as "warm and productive". The much-anticipated summit had been scheduled to take place next month in Singapore. In a gesture to show its sincerity, Pyongyang dismantled the nation's only nuclear test site, an event witnessed by dozens of foreign journalists.
