ISIL has claimed responsibility for Wednesday's Kabul attack, which left at least 26 people dead and 18 others wounded after a suicide bomber detonated his explosives near Kabul University. The site of the blast was less than 200 meters from Karte Sakhi shrine, where people gathered to celebrate the first day of the Nowruz holiday, which marks the start of the Persian New Year.
