Seven-time Chinese Super League (CSL) winners and defending champion Guangzhou Evergrande signed three under-23 players in a bid to develop young talent.
The players include Deng Hanwen, Yang Liyu and Tang Shi.
Deng, 22, had scored two goals for the Chinese national team as a defender since he joined the squad at the end of 2016.
Tang Shi, also 22, is a leading winger of the Chinese U22 national team.
Yang Liyu, 20, from the national U20 team, is a forward attacker known for being good at free kicks and his fast pace.
The China Football Association (CFA) has announced new rules to sign foreign and young players for local professional leagues, including the CSL.
According to the rules, aimed at giving young players a better chance, the number of foreign players on the ground should not exceed local players under the age of 23.
The Guangzhou Evergrande now has six under-23 players, three of whom were signed in July this year.
