During the international brand night of China Fashion Week, fashion designer Vivienne Tam took her Spring/Summer 2019 collection to the Bird's Nest Culture Center in Beijing. Let's head to the runway to take a look.It was a chilly Wednesday night in Beijing. However, designer Vivienne Tam transported us to warm and comfortable Southeast Asia, with a runway show dominated by floral prints and bright colors.The collection drew inspiration from the culture of the region, particularly the traditional flower offerings denoting love, warmth and happiness.Vibrant blues, greens, yellows and reds as well as fluorescent pinks injected the collection with energy. The fabrics were acid dyed denim, crinkled chiffon, sheer organza and multi-colored lace.Knits and crochet, as well as straw hats and handbags created a summer holiday spirit. Symbolic creatures of the region such as peacocks and butterflies were printed on dresses and skirts. The people and the way they live, the arts and crafts, it's so amazing."It's the second time that Tam has brought her fashion creations to China Fashion Week.
