The CPC-led multiparty cooperation and political consultation is a fundamental political system of China, said Wang Yang, chairman of the National Committee of the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) at the closing meeting of its annual session in Beijing on Thursday. As a great political accomplishment by the CPC, the people, the country's other political parties and non-affiliated personages, it is a new type of political system emerging from the Chinese soil, he added.
