President Xi Jinping's remarks at the Boao Forum received a positive reaction from the United States. CGTN's Nathan King has more from the White House.

Today with US's invests in China and amongst Chinese investments here in the US, and people did welcomed well that speech."

STEPHEN ORLINS PRESIDENT, NATIONAL COMMITTEE ON US-CHINA RELATIONS "I thought the speech was a very welcoming one. It's one which he's giving to over a thousand foreigners in Boao. And it was one which is saying reform and opening is gonna continue, we are gonna push it ahead with opening in the financial services area. And that of course is positively received those in attendants and those who read about it in the United States. Especially where I come from which is wall street."
