The Pyongyang Marathon, also known as the Mangyongdae Prize International Marathon, was held on April 8, 2018 and some 400 foreign runners from around 40 countries and regions around the world took part in the DRPK’s annual race. The event is recognized as a bronze label race by the IAAF and has become a major boost for the nation's tourism industry.
