More than 200 million trips made during Spring Festival holiday so far

In the first four days of the Spring Festival holiday, China saw an increase in tourism and railway traffic.
From February 15 to 18, a total of 287 million trips have been made in China, an 11.1 percent year-on-year growth. It generated 352.7 billion yuan (55.6 billion US dollars) in tourism revenue, 11.6 percent up from the same period last year, according to data from the China National Tourism Administration.
Among all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, southeast China’s Sichuan Province, the southern province of Guangdong and central Hunan Province attracted tourists the most. 
Meanwhile, railway passenger traffic continued an upward trend on Sunday.
Some 9.02 million passenger trips are estimated to have been made through China's railway network on Sunday, up from 7.07 million trips on Saturday, according to the China Railway Corporation.
