Merkel arrives in Paris to attend cabinet meeting with Macron
German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrived in Paris on Thursday to attend a Franco-German cabinet meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
They'll hold talks at the iconic Elysee Palace in the French capital. The two leaders are also due to visit a youth center which specializes in German language lessons.
The meeting between the two cabinets comes three months ahead of Germany's legislative election. Earlier this year in April, the two countries held a similar meeting that focused on Macron's presidential victory.
