Venezuela Riot: Official: 68 people killed in riot, fire at police station

Venezuelan officials have confirmed that at least 68 people were killed as a prison riot and fire broke out at a Venezuelan police station in the central city of Valencia. The dead include 66 men and two women who were visiting the prison overnight. Authorities said an investigation would be launched immediately to clarify what had happened, and four prosecutors have already been assigned to the case.
