14 killed in bus-truck collision in Egypt

At least 14 people were killed and 42 others were injured after a bus collided with a truck in the Egyptian province of Beni Suef, Egypt's Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

The bus and the truck overturned after the collision and plunged off a bridge on the Beni Suef Eastern Road, some 148 km south of the capital Cairo, the ministry said in a statement.

It did not specify when the crash happened.
