More than ever, China is getting serious on imposing further sanctions on its neighbor over Pyongyang's ongoing nuclear tests.

“Purchasing prices have gone up by about 10 percent. There is clearly a shortage of supply for products like crabs and squid,” said Dong Lili, a seafood merchant at Sidaoqiao seafood market in Dandong.
As the frontier hub for China-DPRK trade, any move Beijing takes to restrict the flow of DPRK goods can also deliver a substantial blow to Dandong businesses.

The head chef from the Zhonglian Hotel told CGTN that they used to place purchasing orders at certain times of the week, but with the dramatic shrinkage in stock, they have to place orders whenever there are new stocks available.
The latest UN resolution broadens a cap on coal and iron imports from the DPRK to a full-fledged ban. It also added restrictions on things like seafood imports and the use of laborers from the DPRK.
