China will impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on the import of 2-chloro-4-nitroaniline originated in India, starting February 13, 2018.
Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said on Monday that it would impose anti-dumping duties ranging from 31.4 percent to 49.9 percent and countervailing duties from 21.1 percent to 166.8 percent on the import of 2-chloro-4-nitroaniline in India, citing dumping and subsidies have substantially damaged the domestic industry.

The ministry kicked off anti-subsidy and anti-dumping probes into the said product in February 2017 after it received an inquiry from Suzhou Luosen Auxiliaries Co., Ltd. on behalf of the domestic industry in December 2016.
2-Chloro-4-nitroaniline is a chemical product widely used in dyes and pharmaceutical.
