Drone footage on September 7, 2017 shows flooded streets and houses devastated by the hurricane in Cole Bay and Simpson Bay, on Dutch part of Saint Martin island. Hurricane Irma has already claimed 20 lives in the Caribbean Island, nine died in the French Caribbean, four in the United States Virgin Islands, three in Puerto Rico, two on the Dutch side of St. Martin, one in Barbuda and one in Anguilla.
