Two women land on car roof following road accident in E China

Two women were riding on a scooter when they were suddenly knocked off by an oncoming car in east China's Anhui Province.
The accident, which was caught on surveillance cameras, sent the two women flying into the air and onto the roof of the car that hit them. One of the women fell off the roof of the car, but the second woman remained on the roof until the driver of the car stopped the vehicle.
After the accident, both women were taken to the hospital, where they are recovering from their injuries. After investigating the accident, traffic police officers found that both of the drivers involved in the collision are at fault.
Officers have confirmed that the driver of the scooter was not only driving against traffic on the wrong side of the road, but she also ran a red light. The driver of the car shared the responsibility of the accident, because she was speeding through the intersection.
