China has hit back at comments by Sean Spicer, the new White House press secretary, regarding the South China Sea islands. The Chinese Foreign Ministry replied that China has indisputable sovereignty over the Nansha Islands and their adjacent waters. The ministry also said the US is not directly involved and should watch its words and actions.
