Apart from dealing with internal risks, Chinese economy will also have to face tough challenges from overseas. U.S. President Donald Trump is seeking to impose tariffs on up to 60 billion US dollars of Chinese imports. Technology and telecommunications sectors, two of the fastest-growing areas in China's industrial sector, are high on the target list. The National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday that China and the United States should take on the responsibility for ensuring steady global growth, instead of sparking a trade war.
