At least one person was killed and another was injured after a car crashed into two bus shelters in different locations in the French city of Marseille, police said.
The driver has been arrested, but the motive behind the attack has not been determined. Prosecutors are not treating the case as a terrorist attack, AFP reported.
The 35-year-old man hit a bus shelter at around 8:15 a.m in the 13th arrondissement before hitting another in the 11th arrondissement an hour later, according to Reuters.
Police warned the public to avoid the scene in the Old Port district.
The incident came after two car ramming incidents in Barcelona and Cambrils last Thursday killed 14 people and injured over 100 others.
