An exhibition kicked off at Beijing's Military Museum to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).
Paintings, sculptures and historical relics depict different historical periods of the PLA.
Modern weapons are also among the items on display. The public can view a total of 16 high-tech combat units, including J-10 fighter jets, 99A tanks and a DF-31 intercontinental ballistic missile, among other real items donated by various troops.
In addition to recounting the army's history, the exhibition has also provided inspiration to many visitors.
From the exhibition, the public can learn how the country's military reforms have evolved over the past few decades under different leaderships.
