Shoe color debate: What do you see?

Do you see gray and teal? Or do you see pink and white? 
Some may still get confused by the dress which went viral a few years ago, leaving netizens to wonder if it was white and gold or blue and black. Well, a Facebook user named Nicole Coulthard has shared a photo of a shoe which has sparked a new debate over different colors - even spreading to China’s social media platforms.

“It’s absolutely pink and white!” commented @ Katrina_lovely33. “The photo’s taken under the green light!”
“The image must be toned,” said @wyz7jdxzz. “And it has to be gray and teal itself.”
However, there’s another group of people holding the opinion that the color of the sneaker to be pink and green.
“I thought it was gray and teal,” @guobaolanjiejie. “But it’s turning into pink and green when I look at it again.”

Those with basic knowledge of Photoshop also took a step further, color correcting and white balancing the image, in order to find the answer to what color it really is.
Scientifically speaking, our eyes and brain will perceive colors in different ways based on the effect of light and shade, which may cause the confusion over the shoe's apparent color change.

The official Vans website said that the sneakers are actually pink and white, and they sell for 60 dollars (360 yuan) in 19 different colors, according to reports.
