A Moscow court on Thursday convicted five men of murdering Russian politician Boris Nemtsov, more than two years after he was shot dead near the Kremlin.
After more than eight months of hearings, a jury trial convicted five suspects, who agreed to kill Nemtsov in exchange for 15 million rubles (253,000 US dollars).

The person who hired them is still unidentified and at large.
President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, told reporters on Wednesday that law enforcement agencies would continue the search for those who ordered Nemtsov’s murder, noting that such cases are usually very difficult to solve.
Nemtsov, former Russian deputy prime minister and an outspoken critic of Putin, was shot dead at about midnight on February 27, 2015 near the Kremlin.
