Ahead of the first China International Import Expo, we are delivering a series "The Voices of Global Giants". We've invited CEOs from industry leaders to share their expectations. In today's 4th episode, we ask the CEOs from L'Oreal, Jaguar, and Nexans, about their thoughts on the CIIE, China's huge potential market and the requirement of quality.
STEPHANE RINDERKNECH CEO, L'OREAL "I'm very proud because we're one of the very first companies to give our commitment to CIIE, and from the highest level of L'Oreal, we engage ourselves to make CIIE a great success. We've already benefited from many reforms from China's government helping companies like L'Oreal to stimulate the domestic conception of potential customers, so we're very grateful."
PAN QING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, JAGUAR LAND ROVER CHINA "Jaguar Land Rover valued the opportunity to come to this expo. The technology is advancing fast in the automotive industry. We believe that China's commitment in developing a high-quality society towards innovation and sustainability will bring competitive advantage to the market. Any open-up policy will promote the competitiveness of the Chinese industry."
CHRISTOPHER GUERIN CEO, NEXANS "What we're doing in the near future is continue to toss the research of high quality technologies like aerospace and automation, because the robotics will take a large place in Shanghai in the coming years, and we want to support that in coming ten years in China. The first demand of those customers is quality, and reliability. We're supplying cable but customers ask us to provide solutions and sub-system on modules, what we'll be working on with them together."
