Condensed review of the final days in a dorm

Feeling stressed out over the impending finals? Having questions in class that are not answered?

Well, Wang Zijian, a young Chinese student in Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, was not focusing on improving his own grades, but helping his fellow classmates out by turning his upper bed in his dorm into a classroom platform.

“I chose to sit on the upper bed because this is the only way I can make sure each of them can look at my laptop screen and the little blackboard clearly,” said Wang, according to local media.

This is actually not the first time Wang held an after-class session in his dorm. “We did the same thing last quarter, and now we all have no worries about failing finals, thanks to him,” said Xiao Hao, one of his classmates.

As soon as photos of the students gathering around the bunk bed and listening to Wang’s lecture on econometrics surfaced, netizens were quick to comment as they were reminded of both good days in school and “nightmares” before finals.

“We always skipped classes, played on our cell phones, or just tried to have fun when we were supposed to study, while trying to make an effort at the last moment right before finals-that’s what we did in college,” @caiwuyanjiuzhe on Weibo.

Some users praised Wang as he spent his spare time helping classmates with finals. “The selfless guy is spreading positive energy,” commented @xinyunxiaoqingshe.

Others also joked about the fact that such welfare would only be applied to boys in the dorm with a live version, while girls would have to learn about it from videos.
