Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy Yang Jiechi will visit the Republic of Korea (ROK) on Thursday for two days at the invitation of ROK government, with China-ROK ties and the situation on the Korean Peninsula on the agenda, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has announced.
Yang is scheduled to meet ROK President Moon Jae-in and other officials, including National Security Office Chief Chung Eui-yong and ROK Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha, MOFA spokesperson Lu Kang said on Wednesday.
