Japan's Ueno zoo has a hugely popular giant panda cub named Xiang Xiang, which has caused visitor numbers to rise since its debut to the public. According to a report from Nikkei on Monday, last year's annual admission quota for visitors to the zoo was over 4 million for the first time in over six years. The last time this happened was in 2011, when Xiang Xiang's parents made their debut. During the exhibition this time, the zoo also provided live streaming for visitors who couldn't make it in person. It's said there have been over 20 million views online.
