Sanya International Bodybuilding & Fitness Bikini Contest kicks off

More than 530 contestants have been gathering in Sanya, south China's Hainan Province for the 7th Sanya International Bodybuilding & Fitness Bikini Contest which opened on Friday.
The participants from 15 countries and regions, including the United States, Australia, South Korea and Russia, are vying for total prize money of 400,000 yuan (60,600 US dollars).

The finals include the categories of professional bodybuilding, professional fitness, professional bikini and Miss Yatch (super buttocks).
Supported by the Sanya municipal government, the annual contest was founded in 2011 by Qian Jicheng, China's first world champion in bodybuilding.
